This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long established organisation who are leaders within their fields and who offer excellent career progression.

The Loft Converters has been established for 20 years and cover areas including: property developments, property refurbishments, social housing, facilities management, property lettings & property management, hotels, hostels and B&B operations.

Role:

Loft Converters is looking to hire a bid writer/ document controller, to work with the director of the group on applying for social housing and repairs & maintenance tender contracts.

The role would involve reviewing and keeping the Loft Converters policies up to date, including the ISO 9001, ISO 9001, Business Continuity, Health & Safety and many more.

Responsibilities:

As Bid Writer/ Document Controller you will be responsible for:

  • Source possible business opportunities via specific websites
  • Preparation and proof reading of PQQs and tenders for both Private and Public sectors with both new and retained clients
  • Devise bid winning strategy, helping to formalise and maximise track record, experience and expertise
  • Managing the production of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documents
  • Attending tender interviews
  • Networking with suppliers
  • Carry out pre-bid research
  • Develop and manage a content library, uploading all new bid content for future reference.
  • Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant, checking others’ work.
  • Deliver completed written bid responses to the director
  • Source bid partners and collate partnership information
  • Complete financial and delivery profiles where required
  • Re-write/ edit bid responses from a variety of stakeholders
  • Review and update ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Manuel
  • Implement ISO 14001
  • Review and update Business Continuity Policy
  • Review and update Health and Safety policies
